Prokop Eltex (India) Pvt. Ltd. (PEIL) has set up a joint venture with the world-renowned PROKOP a. s. to manufacture and supply complete turnkey plants and solutions to Flour Mills in India and abroad. Its joint venture partner PROKOP a. s. was founded in 1870 and can legitimately claim more than 130 years of flour milling heritage. Its products are well known to Indian Millers with its machines being in operation in over 100 mills in India.

Apart from the strengths derived from its joint venture partner, PEIL also derives its strength from the long experience of its promoters in India in flour milling and fabrication of flourmill equipment. The Kovilpatti Lakshmi Roller Flour Mills Ltd and Cape Flour Mills Private Limited - the two flour milling units in the groups are market leaders in their own territories and have a reputation for quality and technical expertise. The company is professionally managed with food technologists and management professionals manning the key positions.

In its existence of over five years, PEIL has supplied machines to several millers in various parts of India and neighbouring countries such as Bangladesh and Nepal. Its machines are installed and are in operation from the Northernmost parts of India such as Jammu and Kashmir to the Southernmost parts of India such as Kerala. The company has worked closely with technicians from its joint venture partners and also consultants in India in designing and supplying the equipment to these customers.

PEIL is strategically located in Coimbatore, South India which has a number of Engineering firms, which can supply components to it at competitive rates. The place also abounds in engineering professionals with experience in equipment manufacture whose services can be availed by PEIL on an employment basis or consultancy basis. PEIL is part of a strategic business group comprising of three Engineering units belonging to Eltex Group located in Coimbatore, manufacturing colour sorting machines for food grains, coffee processing machinery, besides a foundry manufacturing castings. There is thus considerable equipment manufacturing expertise available to PEIL.

PEIL offers a range of products including Cleaning Equipment, Roller Mills and Spare Rolls, Plansifters, Semolina Purifiers, Weighing Scales, Automatic Water Dosing System, Vibratory Bran Finishers, Conveying And Aspiration Lines. It can also undertake turnkey contracts involving supply of equipment (by itself and its joint venture partner), erection and commissioning. On a long-term basis PEIL can provide maintenance support for the machines supplied by it. The company can also provide by itself and with the involvement of its joint venture partner, consultancy on flourmill modernization and capacity upgradation.
